In the crazy mixed up world of a teenager, things are constantely go, go. go. Most of the time, we forget to just pause…. and take time to listen to God.

That’s what [inter]mission student ministires is all about. Ministering and witnessing to the teens and younf adults of today and helping them listen closer to the call that God is placing on their life. We draw our philosophy from Psalm 46:10 Be still and know that I am God.

Our ministry inludes a causal service on Wednesday evenings that involves a time of worship by our live band Lion of Judah followed by a relevant message . Sundays we meet in the morning and go through small group studies designed to tackle tough issues and spark deep conversations about God, Christianity, and this chaos we call life.

In [inter]mission student ministries, we beleive that the lesson and the message, doesn’t end in the youth room. It continues through our lives and shows through what we do everyday. That is why we participate in outreach trips such as a mission trip to the L.A. Dream Center as well as outreaches done right here in our own backyard. We partner with the adult ministries in doing outreaches to the apartment communities surrounding us to better reach the youth in our community. Events such as The 30 Hour Famine to raise money to help the hungry around the world. Students participate by not eating for 30 hours and taking pledges.

Future outreaches including partnering with Habitat for Humanity, TOMS Shoes and the local SPCA.

In addtion to oureach and missions, we also enjoy special times of fellowship. Event nights like Movie Night and Game Night provide a time of fellowship right here on campus, in addition to our annual rafting trip and summer camps.
